The treatment
Indication and principle
Some wrinkles come from repeated muscle contraction: frown lines, forehead lines, crow's feet. Botulinum toxin temporarily blocks the nerve signal to these muscles. The dose is matched to muscle strength, favouring under-correction.
The effect appears within three to fourteen days, then fades gradually. Treating very active muscles early may limit a line settling at rest.

Plain speaking
What this treatment does not do
- It does not act on deep static wrinkles, those that remain visible at rest.
- It does not restore any volume: neither cheekbones, nor facial oval, nor hollows.
- It does not change skin quality: neither pores, nor spots, nor texture.
- It does not freeze the face when correctly dosed — and is not intended to.
