For men

Rested, not redone.

Most men who walk through the door come with the same sentence: people keep asking whether I am tired. It is a precise concern, and it calls for a precise response.

In your words

What brings you in.

People say I look stern, even when I am in a good mood.

The frown line forms a vertical crease between the eyebrows. Botulinum toxin type A relaxes it. The eyebrow keeps its position and shape.

My features look drawn at the end of the day.

The temples and hollow beneath the eye lose volume over time. A small amount of hyaluronic acid restores what is missing. This is often where the gaze changes most.

My jawline has become heavier.

There are two different situations: supporting a fading mandibular angle with hyaluronic acid, or relaxing an overdeveloped masseter caused by teeth clenching with botulinum toxin type A. The examination distinguishes between them.

Planned for November

My skin is thick, with visible pores and acne scars.

A medical peel works on texture. PRP works on skin quality. The choice depends on your skin and the season.

Planned for November

I am losing my hair.

We first look for the cause: an assessment, iron levels, thyroid function and current medication. Sometimes the cause is simple to correct and PRP becomes unnecessary. That is good news.

Anatomy

What changes in a man's face

01

Male skin is thicker and more vascular. The forehead and glabellar muscles are stronger. Toxin doses are therefore higher than for a woman, and the effect may take an extra day or two to settle.

02

The male eyebrow is low and horizontal. Treating the forehead without discernment can lift and round it: the face becomes feminised and the change is immediately visible. The guiding principle is to relax without lifting.

03

A male face is read through its angles. I support a structure rather than fill it. That is why I prefer to treat one area at a time and see you again, rather than do everything in one session.

After treatment

Discretion.

The question I hear most often is whether it will show at work the next day. With toxin, a few red points usually fade within the hour. With hyaluronic acid, swelling can last one or two days and a bruise is possible. You can resume your day when you leave. I tell you beforehand what may be visible, so you can choose your week.
