The treatment
Indication and principle
Blood drawn at the practice is centrifuged to isolate the platelet-rich plasma fraction. This concentrate, reinjected into the skin, aims to stimulate it.
An adjunct treatment for skin quality, radiance and fine lines: several sessions are needed, with no immediate or guaranteed result.

In practice
How a session proceeds
- Blood draw
- Blood taken from the crook of the elbow, then centrifuged at the practice.
- Anaesthesia
- Anaesthetic cream before the injections, depending on the area.
- Sensations
- Multiple brief pinpricks. Tolerance is generally good.
PRP is not performed on the day of the first consultation. A reflection period precedes the procedure, after examination.
Plain speaking
What this treatment does not do
- It does not treat deep wrinkles: PRP acts on skin quality, not on volume.
- It does not restore any volume: neither cheekbones, nor facial contour, nor hollows.
- It does not treat skin laxity.
